Tiny Planet Fun in Sudbury

December 29, 2019

This weekend I took my 360 camera out into the community to have a little fun with it at a couple of Sudbury's landmarks.  I hit up the Big Nickel at Dynamic Earth and the Vale Superstack in Copper Cliff.

The 360° field of view in these cameras allow it to capture an entire scene in ALL directions. Later, once these spherical panorama images are transferred to a computer or smartphone, they can be manipulated in some pretty creative ways.  The result of this tweaking produces these common views called tiny planet or little earth views.

I will be photographing more area landmarks in this manner and sharing the results here on my site and on my social media feeds, so be sure to follow along.  For now, below are the images I created this weekend.  Enjoy!
