Licentiate PPO Qualification received

At this past weekend’s NEOB PPO meeting/BBQ, I was presented with my qualification certificate as a Licentiate of the Professional Photographers of Ontario. This was an extremely proud moment for me as I have worked extremely hard over the past few years to improve my portraiture skills to get this level.

The Flight of the Common Grackle

While I was outside barbecuing tonight’s supper on the back deck, I noticed some birds flying around the yard and decided to shoot them, the only way I know how… with a Nikon. I’ve seen these birds around a lot, but never knew what they were called until today… the Common Grackle.
