I just purchased a new lens and wanted to try it out, so my daughters agreed to model for me. These images were taken around home yesterday on a mild winter day. I think you’ll agree that they did a fine job! Thanks Gabby and Angie. Love ya!
In the first week of October 2011, I spent a couple of hours photographing the Lamothe family in Sudbury’s Bell Park. Although it was a cool day, the sun was out and made for an enjoyable portrait session. The children had a great time and were just so full of energy… which I think is pretty obvious in some of these images. Thanks, guys, for being real troopers!

Last weekend I was at the Garson Arena for a fun-filled day of photographing the children of some 250 families at the 2011 Health Sciences North (HSN) Kids Christmas Party. This is my fourth year doing this and each year I have a great time watching and capturing the expressions of the kids, overcome with the excitement and wonder of the holiday season! Their afternoon culminated when they came up to get their gifts and have a quick visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. I’m looking forward to next year’s party already!! Happy Holidays everyone!!

Last weekend, on the morning of Sunday August 14, 2011, I spent an hour or so at the intersection of Moonlight Ave. and Bancroft Drive photographing the cyclists who were participating in the 2011 Beaton Classic. The Beaton Classic is a swim, bike, paddle and run relay race and this years results can be found on the Sudbury Rocks Running Club website. I’ve included a couple of photos in this post, but for a slideshow of more images, have a look at this post on my sports photography website. All of my photos can also be viewed here.

Here’s a quick little slideshow of images taken this past Friday night. We were out at my brother-in-law’s place in Capreol enjoying the warmth, brilliance and tastes of a summer bonfire. Enjoy!
